Loewe has presented the fourth Paula’s Ibiza 2020 collection, a summer proposal linked to the “Balearic” spirit which its creative director Jonathan Anderson is so identified with. On this occasion, the capsule collection is accompanied by a new fragrance and cheerful accessories. “Paula’s Ibiza embodies the spirit of desinhibition”, explained Jonathan Anderson. “In this collection, the sense of scapism and joy becomes the main focus. As a positive and energizing message, I think it is very appropriate for this moment”.
The new fragrance Loewe Paula’s Ibiza has been created with essential ingredients that contain coconut water with fresh galbanum, mandarin oils from Madagascar and wood, mountain lily and Frangipani flower, patchouli oil from Sulawesi and ambergris. An unisex perfume with which the designer wanted to transmit “that transitory feeling that reminds me of the sunny summers I spent in Ibiza when I was a teenager”.
Filmed by Gray Sorrenti in New Delhi, the campaign takes the vitality of fashion to a lively peak. The main characters are photographed at private parties in Dilliwalen havelis, riding scooters and tuk-tuks in rarely seen places of the capital, practicing BMX on rooftops among members of their B-Boy subculture.
